Kremlin considers negotiations again, although "special operation going as planned"

Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the President of Russia, claimed that the government was ready to negotiate with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, about how "Moscow’s conditions will be met" in order to end the war.

Details: In an interview for a propagandist TV programme titled "Moscow. Kremlin. Putin", Peskov was asked about what Russia would discuss with Zelenskyy, given that the Ukrainian President had stated he would not negotiate with Moscow.

Quote: "As for how our conditions will be met.

Undoubtedly [Russia’s conditions remain the same]. The operation is being conducted as planned, its goals will be achieved".

Background: Earlier, the Kremlin sharply reduced the use of the term "denazification", which Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, had named as one of the reasons for the war in Ukraine, along with "demilitarisation" of Ukraine.
