Ever since "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" came to an end in 2021, viewers have had one pressing questions: did Kim Kardashian pass the baby bar exam?

During the show's season 20 premiere, Kardashian is shown taking the baby bar exam, also known as the First-Year Law Students' Examination - a mandatory exam that first-year law students attending unaccredited schools must pass in order to be eligible to sit for the bar. "Because I'm in law school in an untraditional way, after year one, you have to take the baby bar, which is a one-day version of the bar," Kardashian explains. "The test is seven hours long and has four hour-long essays that you have to write, and then it has 300 multiple-choice questions." The episode, however, never actually reveals if she passed or not.

Kardashian's tweets at the time seemed to imply that she'd passed. She live-tweeted the episode, writing in one tweet, "I spend so many hours studying but it's definitely worth it." In a separate tweet, a fan asked whether her baby bar experience will be highlighted in her upcoming Spotify podcast series, to which she responded, "It's going to be the best! I can't wait for you guys to tune in."

However, during the May 27 episode, she reveals to Kourtney and Khloé that she didn't pass the exam. "So, you guys, I did not pass the baby bar," she shares. "If you are doing law school the way I'm doing it, it is a four-year program instead of your typical three-year program. And after year one, you have to take the baby bar. This one's actually harder, I hear, than the official bar." In order to pass, Kardashian needed a 560, and she received a 474. She ended up retaking the baby bar in November 2020, and during the show's season finale on June 10, 2021, it was revealed that she failed again. This time around, she scored a 463.

Fast-forward to December 2021, and Kardashian has officially passed! On Dec. 13, 2021, Kim revealed the exciting news on Instagram. "Looking in the mirror, I am really proud of the woman looking back today in the reflection," she wrote. "I know my dad would be so proud and he would actually be so shocked to know that this is my path now but he would have been my best study partner. I am told he was notorious for making fun of people who didn't pass on their first attempt like he did, but he would have been my biggest cheerleader!"

On the May 19 episode of Hulu's "The Kardashians," viewers got to see the exact moment Kardashian found out she passed, which happened to be while she was dining at Red Lobster. "I passed!" she exclaimed. "Is this real? I'm so happy. Like, I literally didn't think I did."

Kardashian first announced her decision to become a lawyer in April 2019 and is currently set to take the bar exam this year. She's been doing a four-year apprenticeship with a San Francisco law firm, and even though she's not yet officially a lawyer, she's advocated for a number of criminal-justice reform causes in recent years.
