Kanye West Calls Out Gap for Ripping Off His Designs

It seems like Ye isn't too happy with Gap -- in his latest Instagram posts, the Yeezy founder called out the retailer for copying his Balenciaga designs, claiming that he was left out from meetings.

As of writing, the designer's grid starts with a photo of Yeezy-style sunglasses with a pile of clothes seen in the background. "Gap held a meeting about me without me?" Ye wrote, followed by a screenshot of DMs where someone wrote, "This is Gap copying YGEBB," referring to the YEEZY Gap Engineered by Balenciaga collection. The rapper continued in the caption: "But they canceled the photo shoot with my kids in Japan without me knowing."

Ye signed a 10-year partnership with Gap, which has contributed to the company's recent rebranding. The collaboration also brought in Balenciaga with hyped drops, while Gap revamped its stores with a nationwide release.
