Joie Chavis And Shai Moss Win Over Fans With Mother-Daughter Dance Video: 'Look At My Baby Hyping Me Up'

Joie Chavis is no rookie in killing a dance routine, especially on TikTok, where the dancer participates in the latest viral dance challenges, sometimes alongside her 11-year-old daughter Shai Moss.

On Instagram, Chavis shared a recent dance number she and Shai worked on to Miguel’s hit remixed single “How Many Drinks” featuring Kendrick Lamar.

Chavis wore a white tee, dad cap and dark gray sweats to match, while Moss wore a tie-die T-shirt and denim bottoms.

The clip starts in a bathroom of what one would assume is Chavis and Moss’ home. Centered in the camera frame, the mother-daughter duo struck a pose before doing their synchronized dance.

Toward the end of the video, during a closing dance move, Moss lost her foot placement, messing up the dance routine but instead of being hard on herself, Moss kept her composure and cheered her mother on as she finished the dance number.

Chavis praised her daughter in the caption of her post for being the best hype man despite her slip-up.

The 33-year-old wrote, “Look at my baby hyping me when she messed up.”

Fans co-signed Chavis’ endearments for Moss, expressing how much they loved the bond between the mother and daughter.

“I love their bond,” one user wrote in the comments.

“Love the bond you two have,” another comment read.

“It definitely was the hype for me!” Another wrote. “Shai hyping you up is everything.”

The admiration for the two follows behind another video Chavis recently posted on TikTok showing Moss was ready to ride for her mom when she thought Chavis was involved in a dispute with their neighbor.

The “Put Your Shoes On” challenge sees parents trying to show or test the devotion of their children when presented with a chance to fight.
