DeKALB—Ingersoll Middle School wrestling team excelled at the state tournament held last weekend.

Four wrestlers placed with Connor Williams winning a first place state title in the heavy weight division.

Others placing include: Jake Hardesty and Aden Greene nabbing second place titles while Maddux Steele earning a fourth place title.

As a team, IMS won second place overall.

Monday morning they were honored with a ride to school on a Canton fire truck and recognized with a school assembly.
