College Professor Says Some Of His Gen Z Students ‘Expect To Get A’s – No Matter What’

John is a college professor who says some of his Gen Z students are less motivated and more dependent on their phones than generations past. “They seem to want to focus on their phones more than listening and learning,” he says. John says another issue he faces with the current generation is grade inflation and how his students “expect to get A’s - no matter what.” “I’ve been teaching almost 40 years, and I feel a lot of pressure on myself to give these students at least a C even if they’re not doing an adequate amount of work,” says John.
