2022 FAMU football Investing in Champions packages & season tickets available to purchase

As Kortne Gosha watched FAMU's annual Orange and Green game Saturday afternoon, the Rattlers' director of athletics saw a glimpse into the 2022 season.

He also viewed the spirited crowd in the east stands, the ongoing renovations to Bragg Memorial Stadium and the venue's potential as a continued economic driver for the university and community.

An important step in that process started this week as fans can purchase Investing in Champion packages and season tickets for the upcoming season.

FAMU's home schedule features Albany State, Alabama A&M, Mississippi Valley State, Arkansas Pine-Bluff and Southern.

The Rattlers and coach Willie Simmons are coming off consecutive nine-win seasons, boast a 10-game win streak at Bragg Memorial Stadium and appeared in the FCS playoffs last season for the first time in 20 years.

Season tickets range from $200 (does not include parking pass) to multiple Investing in Champion packages/amenities.

While the school will offer payroll decision and payment plans for all packages, the renewal deadline is June 30. All packages and parking not paid in full by the deadline will be released, according to FAMU athletics.

BRAGG MEMORIAL RENOVATIONS

Gosha has stressed the importance of Investing in Champion packages, fundraising and financial stability within the athletics department.

Bragg Memorial Stadium is a key piece to that puzzle.

Renovations to the 25,500-seat stadium - built in 1957 - are expected to be completed by the Sept. 10 home opener against Albany State. Phase I featured the rebuilt east stands that were open for the spring game.

In a recent letter to fans, Gosha explained the west side of the stadium, which is currently under construction, will feature a new press box with observation "party" decks that can be rented on a per-game basis. Additionally, fans will now have permanently installed seatbacks and over 200 chair back seats based on ticket level.

He also said that new stadium layout will "relocate and displace some patrons," explaining, however, the decision is a by-product of growth, stadium upgrades, and program improvements.

And, per stadium layout, Gosha said Section E will be reserved for Investing In Champions package holders at the $1650 level and above. This section will have both full seatback and chair backs.

Investing In Champions package holders at the $1,650 level will be offered bleacher back seats, while IIC holders at the $2,800 level and above will be offered chair back seating within the designated sections.

NON-IIC season ticket holders will be offered seats in Sections A, B, C, D, F, G, H, N, and O.

Fans will no longer be allowed to bring their own seat backs into the stadium.

And while prices have not increased from 2021, Gosha said there will be "a few changes to some seating and parking areas associated with the ongoing renovations of Bragg Memorial Stadium."

Additionally, Gosha said Orange Blossom Classic tickets are not included in any package. These tickets are stand-alone and can be purchased at the University ticket office or via Ticketmaster.com.

Also, all Florida Classic tickets will be digital. Club level tickets will be included in specific Investing in Champions packages. Otherwise, this ticket will be a stand-alone and can be purchased through the University Box Office or Ticketmaster.com.
