‘Zoo’ Season Ends With Cliffhanger
Spoiler alert! Tuesday’s finale of Zoo ended on a cliffhanger pitting the gang against a wall of vicious animals.
The group had survived last week’s plane crash, though the others believed Jamie was dead along with the young leopard who could help them create a cure. Flash-forward a short time, and we saw how bad things had really gotten: You had to go to a hidden restaurant if you wanted to eat meat and join an underground society if you still loved cats. You had to fight off baboons while venturing out to get a neighbor’s prescription filled. And your Uber driver had to be armed.

Luckily, the man who saved Jamie from drowning finally found a phone for her to use, and she told Mitch she was alive and all hope was not lost. For like a second. As our heroes tried to drive out of town to catch a boat to bring Jamie and the leopard home, they ran into a roadblock set up by the infected animals. In the final moment, the animals lunged at the car.
Fans are still awaiting word on whether CBS will renew the summer drama for a second season.
