Zendaya Slams Julie Klausner After Comedian Publicly Shames Her Weight: 'You Really Wanna Be Next?'
Zendaya is not cool with body shaming.
The 19-year-old K.C. Undercover star hit back at comedian Julie Klausner on Sunday, after the Difficult People star insinuated that Zendaya has an eating disorder following the actress' appearance at the 2016 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.
"And thinspo model for your impressionable tweens," Klausner, 37, first wrote, linking to an article about Zendaya's acceptance speech.

"Zendaya's ultimate retort to Giuliana Rancic is starving herself down to the size of one of her elbowz," she added, referencing Zendaya's highly publicized beef with Rancic over the E! television personality's comments about her dreadlocks at last year's Oscars. "You don't have to have an eating disorder to attend the Kids' Choice Awards....but it helps!"

Obviously, Zendaya didn't take the tweets lightly.
"Do you find this funny? I will write another paragraph to educate you aswell #youreallywannabenext?," the former Disney star fired back, to which Klausner replied, "Can't wait."
"Now....everyone go look in the mirror at their beautiful body, and love that sh*t. #thickgirlswinning #skinnygirlswinning #weallwinning," Zendaya continued.

But Klausner didn't stop there. The writer accused Zendaya of perpetuating "dangerous beauty standards," and even brought comedian Melissa McCarthy into the conversation.
"I will never stop criticizing celebs who perpetuate dangerous beauty standards for a generation of girls who grow up thinking they're fat," she wrote. "And you know those public fat shamers who fake 'concern' for Melissa McCarthy's health? Consider me your fire with fire."
"I'm concerned with the generation of girls who aspire to look like Zendaya," she added. "I do not worry about Zendaya's health or care whether she eats."

After Klausner continued to respond to angry Zendaya fans on Twitter, she later attempted to put an end to the beef with a sense of humor. Still, she made it clear that she's not apologizing for her comments.
"Let's not fight," Klausner wrote. "Here is my olive branch to Zendaya fans- can we just all agree that 1) all women are beautiful and 2) Zendaya hates Jews?"
"For those who have spoken to me respectfully about post-racialist bias......I won't apologize, non-apologize, delete tweets, backpedal or refuse to own my sh*t. BUT- I will be more thoughtful going forward," she continued.

But it appears Zendaya didn't let all the negativity get to her. The actress didn't further engage with Klausner, instead, choosing to Instagram pics of herself at the awards show.
"Lots to smile about... Thank you for that gift," Zendaya wrote.

ET caught up with Zendaya at the Kids' Choice Awards orange carpet, where she stuck up for another female celeb on the topic of body image -- Kim Kardashian.
"It's your choice to love your body the way you see fit," she told ET exclusively, when asked about the 35-year-old reality star's recent controversial nude selfie. "So, I choose to do something, she chooses to do another thing, you know? It's empowering. It's loving yourself and being free to do whatever you want with your own body."
