Zayn Malik Is Releasing a Book -- But It's Probably Not What You Think
Zayn Malik is getting into the book business.
The 23-year-old singer is set to release his first book, titled Zayn, on Nov. 1 and though it's classified as an "autobiography" in a press release from publisher Penguin Random House, we wouldn't exactly call it a juicy memoir.
Zayn is said to be a "photographic journey" featuring a collection of personal notes, thoughts, lyrics, drawings, and never-before-seen photos. "I'm going to show you as much as I can so that you can judge me on my own terms, not on what the press or anyone else says," Zayn said in a statement.

The news comes one week after it was announced that Zayn would be executive producing Boys, a new drama series with Dick Wolf and Universal Television that centers on the ups and downs of a wildly successful boy band.
Former One Direction mentor Simon Cowell recently told ET he was not surprised by the move.
"Nothing surprises me anymore," he said, tentatively offering his blessing for the series. "I think he should have come to me with it, if I'm being honest with you."
