Taboo: Tuesday, Jan. 10, at 10 p.m. on FX
Journey back to early 19th century London with Tom Hardy as your guide. The Revenant star headlines this ambitious period drama, which takes him from the wilds of Africa into the seedy underbelly of the British underworld.

Lemony Snicket’s dastardly tales of Count Olaf’s deviousness — and heroic accounts of the Baudelaire orphans’ bravery — come to Netflix in the first of three planned seasons covering the entire 13-novel saga.
