Will Forte’s Puerto Rican Booze Cruise Injury
On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Will Forte tells Jimmy about his Puerto Rico booze cruise injury. After getting “a little drunk,” Forte slammed his leg on the boat he was about to charter with a few of his drunk friends. The injury didn’t hurt, but a clear fluid kept coming out, and his friends joked about his trickling leg.
With the booze cruise over, Will took his trickling leg to Virginia, where he joined Last Man on Earth co-star Kristen Schaal, who took one look at his leg and rushed him to the emergency room. At that particular hospital, Forte’s star power seemed dim, as everyone recognized Schaal from Last Man on Earth but not Forte.
With Schaal’s fame getting them to jump the ER lines, Forte finally got the medical treatment he needed. It turned out that Forte’s leg was suffering from some “rampant sea bacteria” — and even though antibiotics can have some less-than-desirable effects, Forte proved to be a special case, saying, “Throughout the whole 10 days of antibiotics, not a trace of diarrhea.”
