One of the many things we love about Will Arnett — besides his role as GOB on Arrested Development and his animated Netflix series BoJack Horseman — is his deep, sexy baritone voice. And, wouldn’t you know it, Arnett loves his own voice too — as he makes clear in this exclusive clip from his new audio series The Comedy Show Show on Audible.

The series — designed to highlight “creative and inventive standup comedy” — drops today on Audible Channels, and the premiere (titled “Schtick or Treat”) explores the idea of comedy gimmicks. “I’ve always thought about having a catchphrase,” Arnett says. “I think mine might be something like, ‘Now I’m doin’ it! … Oh, spit-up!’”

Arnett goes on to try out a series of terrible accents and catchphrases, only to decide that he cannot improve on the “perfection” of his own “rich, natural baritone.” Take a listen (God, that voice really is velvety smooth, isn’t it?), and then head over to Audible to hear the entire episode.

The Comedy Show Show is available to download now on Audible Channels.
