November 15th, 1993 — 23 years ago today — The Mickey Mouse Club gained a few familiar faces: Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, and… Ryan Gosling? That’s right, the Oscar nominee began his rise to fame by flexing his pipes for the Mouse House. Future *NSYNC-er JC Chasez was also on blistering backup vocals.
Future lovers of each other and denim suits, Britney and Justin, also got their starts on the show. Timberlake introduced the world to his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee, and by displaying his killer golf game. Spears took us to Louisiana to show off her Granny’s Deli and some down-home cookin’. There was one more tiny crooner in their midst, Christina Aguilera introduced the world to her dog and her little sister during a rousing game on the Sega Genesis.
