Watch Tina Fey Finally Fail At Something on ‘Billy on the Street’

From Saturday Night Live to 30 Rock to Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, all Tina Fey ever seems to do is win. But the actress/writer/producer finally meets her Waterloo courtesy of comedian Billy Eichner.

On the season premiere of his TruTV series, Billy on the Street, Eichner challenges Fey to a round of “LaTina Fey,” a game that requires her to stand on a street corner holding a fake Oscar and name as many Latino performers as her pop culture-addled brain can within one minute. If she makes it to 20 before the buzzer rings, she wins a prize.

It becomes clear within the first 10 seconds of the game, though, that she won’t be claiming victory. “The woman from Jane the Virgin,” she begins inauspiciously, leading Eichner to bend the rules a bit by prompting her with the exact name: Gina Rodriguez. Fey then goes on to cite Eva Longoria, Lou Diamond Phillips (who — La Bamba aside — is actually Filipino, not Latino), and Danny Trejo among others. In the end, she succumbs to the high-intensity pressure and sinks to the ground as her host/tormenter says, “Tina Fey finally failed at something!” Paging Anderson Cooper: that’s breaking news you should report.
