Watch the Trailer for Hallmark’s 'Northpole: Open for Christmas'

It’s never too early to start thinking about the holidays, if you’re the Hallmark Channel. The annual “Countdown to Christmas” movie fest kicks off Oct. 31. Among the 17 new originals on the calendar is the follow-up to last year’s Northpole starring Tiffani Thiessen and Josh Hopkins — Northpole: Open for Christmas, which premieres Nov. 21 and stars Lori Loughlin and Dermot Mulroney alongside Bailee Madison’s returning elf Clementine. Watch the trailer above.

Yes. Dermot Mulroney (!).

Once again, Clementine must save the holiday by restoring Christmas spirit, which is needed to power Santa’s sleigh. One of Santa’s “power stations,” a dilapidated inn located in a quaint Vermont town, has been inherited by Loughlin’s Mackenzie Warren, an ambitious estate appraiser/scrooge in New York who decides she’ll renovate and sell the property despite her fond childhood memories.

At the inn, Mackenzie meets Ian, Mulroney’s handsome local handyman who appreciates the inn’s sentimental value and worries that a new owner will simply demolish it. We think you can guess the rest, which is why the trailer doesn’t even pretend that there’s a chance Clementine won’t succeed in making Mackenzie believe in the magic of Christmas (and Mulroney).

Northpole: Open for Christmas premieres Saturday, Nov. 21 at 8 p.m. on Hallmark Channel.
