Watch Lauren Graham sing in Disney Junior's 'Vampirina'

Disney Junior is gearing up for the Oct. 1 premiere of its new animated series Vampirina, which follows the Hauntley family, friendly vampires who have recently relocated from Translyvania to Pennsylvania. The story centers on young Vampirina (aka “Vee,” voiced by Isabella Crovetti) as she learns to navigate her new school as someone who’s different, but it’s the casting of her parents that has us excited: Lauren Graham and James Van Der Beek.

In our exclusive sneak peek above, Graham’s Oxana sings to Vee about achieving her lifelong dream, opening a “scare B&B.”

Vampirina, based on the popular children’s book series Vampirina Ballerina, comes from Doc McStuffins creator Chris Nee. Among the recurring cast, Broadway greats Patti LuPone and Brian Stokes Mitchell as Vee’s grandparents, Nanpire and Grandpop, and Wanda Sykes is a series regular voicing Vampirina’s gargoyle sidekick, Gregoria.

Vampirina premieres Oct. 1 with back-to-back episodes at 11 a.m. simulcast on Disney Junior and Disney Channel. New episodes will air every Monday and Friday in October.
