‘Walking Dead’ Star’s Oscar Winning Impressions
On Tuesday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, star of AMC’s The Walking Dead Ross Marquand took a break from being covered in blood to showcase his impressions of famous actors. With the recent Academy Awards in mind, Ross performed several celebrities’ Oscar speeches on the fly as Jimmy called out names.
Some of the impressions were well-worn territory, but Ross gave spot-on takes of some surprising celebrities. His exuberant version of John C. Reilly was like watching Cal Naughton Jr. himself accept an Oscar. When prompted to do Kevin Spacey, he said, “I wish I could say that I was surprised by this, but come on. Who are you going to choose, Matt Damon?”
Ross’s impeccable impressions have recently received a lot of attention because of a few online videos — one of which features micro-impressions of celebrities, each lasting barely a second.
