‘The View’ Lands Biggest Audience Since Month Rosie O’Donnell Left – Again

“The View” just had its most-watched week since the month Rosie O’Donnell left last year.

Topping CBS’s “The Talk” by an average of 70,000 total viewers, “The View” nabbed 2.974 million overall audience members per episode last week. The last time the ABC show beat that number was the week of Feb. 23, 2015 — two weeks after O’Donnell bailed on the daytime talker for a second time.

“The Talk” did take the key demographic of women ages 25-54, however, for the week ending Feb. 8 — averaging 626,000 viewers to “The View’s” 609,000 viewers.

In that all-important demo and among total viewers, “The View” beat out its own 2015 November Sweep numbers again — something it’s actually accomplished all six weeks of 2016.

“The View” airs weekdays at 11 a.m. on ABC; “The Talk” runs three hours later on CBS.
