The 37-year-old tennis champ was defeated by Garbiñe Muguruza at the 2017 Wimbledon finals on Saturday in London. After the match, Williams took the loss with much grace and delivered a sweet message to her 35-year-old sister.

"I miss you," Venus told Serena in a video shared by Wimbledon's official Twitter account. "I tried my best to do the same things you do, but I think there will be other opportunities. I do."

Serena, who is pregnant with her first child, was absent from the match, but their mother, Oracene Price, was in attendance to support Venus. The pro-athlete made history on Saturday as the oldest woman to complete in the Wimbledon finals.

After the match, Venus received praise and admiration from her fans on social media.
