Veep's Tony Hale: 'Chaotic' Season 6 Is 'Opening Up a Whole New World'

A week ahead of the first Veep script read-through of Season 6, Tony Hale was “hearing some chaotic things,” he told TVLine’s Michael Ausiello on the Emmy red carpet Sunday.

“It’s post-presidency,” he continued. “With that comes a lot of breaking down and anxiety [for Selina & Co.]… Gary is probably losing his mind.”

On the plus side, plotwise, “it’s kind of opening up a whole new world of ‘What do these people do after they were president of the United States?'” suggested the Emmy-nominated actor. “It’s like they don’t know how to be themselves maybe.”
