‘Veep,’ ‘Silicon Valley’ Renewed at HBO

It looks like Selina Meyer has a bit more time to secure her legacy, while PiperChat will keep on talking.

HBO on Thursday announced that it has renewed Veep for Season 7. Additionally, the premium cabler has also renewed its Sunday-night companion, Silicon Valley, for Season 5. Both announcements were made via the series’ respective Twitter accounts:

Veep, which won the Primetime Emmy award for Outstanding Comedy Series in 2015 and 2016, will wrap its current sixth season on Sunday, June 25 at 10:30/9:30c, following the Season 4 finale of Silicon Valley.
