HBO on Thursday announced that it has renewed Veep for Season 7. Additionally, the premium cabler has also renewed its Sunday-night companion, Silicon Valley, for Season 5. Both announcements were made via the series’ respective Twitter accounts:

Veep, which won the Primetime Emmy award for Outstanding Comedy Series in 2015 and 2016, will wrap its current sixth season on Sunday, June 25 at 10:30/9:30c, following the Season 4 finale of Silicon Valley.
