Usain Bolt Races ‘The Late Late Show’ and It Goes Exactly How You’d Think

The accomplishments of great athletes are more striking when compared to those of the rest of us. This was never more apparent than when nine-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt raced James Corden and the entire Late Late Show staff. Held in the legendary arena that is the CBS parking lot, Bolt took on the entirety of the show’s payroll. It was quite the collection of characters, which included actor Owen Wilson, for good measure.

When the big moment arrived, the racers took their positions at the starting line. Then Owen Wilson false started. So they took their marks again and the race went, well, pretty much exactly how you’d expect. Bolt blew past the competition, while Corden finished a respectable 21st.

The Late Late Show with James Corden airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. on CBS.
