'The Simpsons' Springfield Comes to Life

Universal Studios Hollywood is opening a life-sized Springfield to compliment their Simpsons Ride, and Yahoo TV in No Time host Nar Williams takes us on an exclusive preview tour. Complete with Krusty Burger, Lard Lad Donuts, and even Duff Beer, Nar puts it best when he says, “I’m in heaven, and it’s called Springfield.”

Opening on May 13, 2015, Springfield is an immersive experience that includes some of the best amusement park food we’ve ever tasted (get the Ribwich — you’ll thank us later), as well as plenty of visual puns and inside jokes for longtime fans of the series. You can follow the muddy tracks to Spider-Pig, hidden somewhere in Cletus’s Chicken Shack, take a moment to avert a meltdown (if you’re lucky) at Homer’s workstation in the nuclear power plant, answer a prank call from Bart at Moe’s Tavern, or see if you can find Krusty’s shrine to his legacy and himself. Check it out.
