'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt' Season 2: Making the World a 'Kimmier' Place
What would a ‘Kimmier’ world look like? Police officers would wear hot pink uniforms, a rainbow of butterflies would replace rubbery franks in hot dog vendor steamers, and Titus Andromedon (real name: Ronald Wilkerson) would burst into his trademark song, “Peeno Noir,” on the street. In short, a Kimmier world would be a better world, as the latest promo for the April 15 second season of Netflix’s comedy Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt proves. Check it out above.
The clip is part of a series of custom Kimmy promos that promise Season 2 will be “the best year ever” — admittedly, not such a tough task when this is year two — but the sophomore season does bring fun new stories for Kimmy and her pals. There’s romance for Titus (played to perfection by Emmy-nominated scene-stealer Tituss Burgess), new challenges for newly single Jacqueline (Jane Krakowski), and work, love, and friendship dramas (which, of course, equals comedy), for Kimmy herself (Ellie Kemper).
