Trading in Jason Morgan’s edgy leather jacket for a prim and proper peacoat, Steve Burton is headed to The Young and the Restless — and we have a sneak peek touting his arrival.

The promo finds the General Hospital alum arriving in Genoa City this week as Dylan McAvoy, Avery’s presumed-dead veteran ex who returns to town to take over the family business. And if, in the interim, he swipes his former ladylove away from resident stud Nick Newman, so be it… right?

• Erstwhile Walking Dead inmate Nick Gomez has landed a recurring role on Dexter Season 8. Details surrounding his role are being kept under wraps for now, but the actor — who announced his casting via Twitter — says that it’s recurring.

• Film vet and Combat Hospital alum Elias Koteas has joined AMC’s recently revived The Killing. Per Deadline, the actor will co-star in Season 3 of the drama as Linden’s well-respected but intense ex-partner who is harboring a big secret.

• Comedy Central has trimmed down South Park‘s 17th season. Instead of its usual 14-episodes, split into two separate batches, the comedy will premiere Sept. 25 with an uninterrupted, 10-installment run.
