A week after getting a strong start in its new 9 p.m. time slot, This Is Us came back down to earth a bit Tuesday.
The freshman drama dipped two-tenths to a 2.6 rating among adults 18-49. However, that number still easily made the series the top-rated show of the night. For the second week, This Is Us built on its lead-in from a steady showing of The Voice (2.4 adults). This Is Us led into a steady airing of Chicago Fire (1.7 adults). All three won their time periods, giving NBC a solid victory for the evening.
One week after launching its new Tuesday comedy block, ABC's half-hours were dipped two-tenths across the board. The Middle (1.5 adults) and American Housewife (1.6 adults), followed by Fresh Off the Boat (1.3 adults) and The Real O'Neals (1.0 adults). At 10 p.m., Agents of Shield was even with a 0.8 rating.
Fresh off its full-season pickup, Bull (1.5 adults) was steady for CBS, as were NCIS (1.8 adults) and NCIS: New Orleans (1.2 adults).
Fox was flat across the board with Brooklyn Nine-Nine (0.9 adults), New Girl (0.9 adults) and Scream Queens (0.6 adults).
The Flash (1.0 adults) and No Tomorrow (0.3 adults) held steady on The CW.
