CASTING

Actor Jeremy Davies (“Lost”) has been cast as a new villain in the Fox series “Sleepy Hollow.” The Emmy award-winning actor joins the fourth season as Malcolm Dreyfuss, who TVLine described as “an eccentric and outspoken tech mogul who became a billionaire before the age of 30, and has since been seeking other worlds to conquer.” “Sleep Hollow” Season 4 will arrive in early 2017.

Hulu, RocketJump, and Lionsgate Studios announced further casting for the upcoming Hulu series “Dimension 404” on Wednesday. Kenneth Choi, most recently seen on “American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson,” has been cast as the cunning drug dealer Kojima. Additionally, Cody Johns (“Summer Forever”) has signed on to play Roy “Killohertz” Torvald, a gamer who ceaselessly consumes a new, time-altering energy drink called “Impulse.” The six-episode sci-fi series, created by Freddie Wong, Matthew Arnold, and Dez Dolly will star Lea Michele (“Glee”) and Robert Buckley (“Lipstick Jungle”).

DEVELOPMENT

Esquire Network announced that it will begin to re-air episodes of the popular Japanese reality show “Ninja Warrior.” The competition series, which inspired “American Ninja Warrior” and spinoff “Team Ninja Warrior,” chronicles “everyday competitors from around the world as they compete against insane obstacles in an effort to defeat the infamous Mt. Midoriyama,” according to the press release. “Ninja Warrior” will air marathon-style from Sep. 3 at 7 a.m. through Sep. 6 at 4 a.m., and will feature 26 “Sasuke” and seven “Women of Ninja Warrior” (“Kunoichi”) tournaments. Furthermore, Esquire stated that brand new “Sasuke” tournaments will air for the first time in the U.S. beginning next year.
