‘Treehouse Masters’ Sneak Peek: Finally, an Official Tasting Room

Fans of Animal Planet’s addictive Treehouse Masters have seen Pete Nelson and his crew construct a bar in a treehouse before. Several times, in fact. But on this occasion, when the client is the Angry Orchard Hard Cider Company and the location is its actual Walden, NY orchard, we can all call a treehouse built for adults what it truly is: a tasting room.

In the exclusive sneak peek above, Pete takes viewers behind the build in tonight’s episode, “How ‘Bout Them Apples,” to show the finished creation — a room fit for roughly 50-60 people that overlooks the Catskill mountains. As Peter ascends the stairs, he notes the most important feature: “Graspable handrails — very important when it’s a drinking platform,” he says.

He later notes that the white pine stem below, which people will inevitably have to step over as they move about the room to take in the view, will be “kind of a fun obstacle, I think.”
