'Treasure Quest: Snake Island' Lives Up to Its Name in This Clip

“For every snake you see, there’s 10 more.” It’s not a comforting thought if you’re one of the treasure hunters hiking through the canopied jungle of Queimada Grande, a location off the southeastern coast of Brazil known to locals as Snake Island. And it makes the exclusive clip above from Friday night’s episode of Treasure Quest: Snake Island all the more suspenseful. Warning: you will jump.

The six-part series debuted last week on Discovery and became its most-watched non-spinoff premiere in 2015. It follows an experienced team as they try to find the legendary bounty known as the “Treasure of the Trinity,” Incan gold that was supposedly stolen by Portuguese conquistadors in the 16th century.

Treasure Quest: Snake Island airs Fridays at 10 p.m. on Discovery.
