In its first season, Spike’s Lip Sync Battle has spawned a series of viral videos, thanks to enthusiastic celebs (fake) belting out hit songs while wearing ridiculous outfits. Some performances earn a notice based on their stellar style. We all have to admit that John Krasinski doesn’t look bad in a glittery dress — and who knew they made leather chaps that would fit the towering 6’ 7” Stephen Merchant? Perhaps the biggest surprise came from Anne Hathaway’s passionate performance of “Wrecking Ball.” From the moment it happened, everyone was talking about it, and it’s obvious why. The Oscar-winning, former Princess Diaries star does Miley Cyrus justice — complete with a gleeful middle-finger-flip at the end.
