Chopped Junior has had some supercute young chefs compete on the show this year. So we narrowed it down to the top five cute kid cooks of 2016.

Lauryn wanted to show her skills in cooking cod by using Hungarian paprika but pronounced “Hungarian” in an adorably wrong way. She said, “I have used this kind of paprika before, and it gives it a nice kick. I just have a hard time pronouncing it.”

Amandine, a tiny cook, showed off her karate skills to the judges with a high kick, then said, “Just because you’re tiny doesn’t mean you’re any weaker than anybody else. I might be small, but I wouldn’t mess with me if I were you.”

Even though tiny Tara was a champion, she wasn’t just in it to win it. Tara said, “Win or lose, I’m always gonna love to cook, but I mean, Chopped will be the icing on the cake. Like the dessert round, ohhh!”
