Tim Gunn Saves the Day on ‘Project Runway’
On Thursday’s Project Runway, Tim Gunn stopped one designer’s nightmare from becoming a reality.
The designers were put into groups of three and tasked with designing a collection for a pop-up shop. Cornelius was paired with Dexter and Erin, who were already friends. He felt like the outsider who was forced to pick up his teammates’ slack. When the trio lost the competition, he was blamed for their failure and Heidi Klum auf Wiedersehen’ed him.
As he was packing his things, Tim Gunn walked in and said, “Cornelius … You’re not going anywhere.” Gunn used his one save of the season to bring Cornelius back from elimination, saying, “You have a strong voice. You have a lot more to say, and we want to hear it.”
Project Runway airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
