This Man’s Dream Powerball Purchase Is Absurd

The Powerball craze is in full effect. With the jackpot over half a billion dollars, Fox 5 Las Vegas reporter Ophelia Young covered the recent frenzy for Powerball tickets and spoke with some of the locals who were trying their luck. Certain people had waited in line for over two hours just to make their purchase, and Young was attempting to talk to one gentleman who was filling out his numbers himself. After he listed his lucky numbers, Young implied that the man didn’t know how low his chances were. When Young asked what he intended to do with the money if he won, the man candidly answered, “Cocaine and hookers.” Young quickly bailed on the interview, and they cut back to the studio. Unfortunately, no one won the Powerball this go-round. Maybe the next time someone’s dream will be realized with the almost $700 million prize.
