These ‘Game of Thrones’ Characters Have the Most to be Thankful For
After several seasons of nonstop torture of the Stark family, things are looking downright rosy for our friends from the North. Well, kind of. At least compared to what they’ve gone through. That’s why when we examined which Game of Thrones characters have the most to be thankful for as we approach Thanksgiving, those direwolf-loving folks dominated our top five list. Without further ado, here at the five Game of Thrones characters who have the most to be thankful for.
Theon Greyjoy
He finally got his act together and helped Sansa escape the clutches of Ramsay Bolton. He managed to get himself back to his sister Yara. Theon should be thankful she loves him enough to break him out this weakened state and return him to something at least resembling the prideful man he once was.
Tyrion Lannister
The imp should be thankful that there’s at least one person in this world who can appreciate him for his loyalty and unmatched intelligence, fortunately she happens to be a conquering queen. Also, hey, let’s be thankful to Rhaegal and Viserion for not chompin’ ya.
Jon Snow
Our moody friend should be thankful for Lyanna Mormont. First she pledged support for his cause unlike so many other Northern lords and then she basically crowned him as King in the North. Jon, buddy, you’ve got a good friend there.
Bran Stark
Speaking of friends, Bran Stark, dude, you should be super thankful for your friends. We’re talking about Summer and Hodor, two special members of your squad who sacrificed themselves for you. Then there’s Meera, who kept you alive. Be thankful, Bran.
Sansa Stark
She’s last but not least and possibly the character who has the most to be thankful for. Let’s see, she should be thankful that Theon finally helped her. She should be thankful to Brienne of Tarth for her devotion despite being sent away. And then she should be thankful to Lyanna Mormont for the same reasons we mentioned earlier. We’d say she should be thankful that Littlefinger helped out, but we know he did that for the wrong reason.
Game of Thrones will return in summer 2017 on HBO.
