Remember that devastation you felt when Lifetime announced the cancellation of Witches of East End? We know you wished you had the power to cast spells on the executives that pulled the plug so that, at the very least, you could find out what happened to the Beauchamp women following the massive series finale cliffhangers. Well, now it’s time for answers.

On Tuesday, Summer on East End: Triple Moon, the young adult spinoff novel series by Witches of East End author Melissa de la Cruz, arrives in bookstores, and with it comes “Mirror Souls,” a short story conclusion to the TV series. And before you get upset that such a conclusion vanquishes any hope of the show getting another shot at life, here’s what de la Cruz promises in the intro:

When Witches of East End went off the air in 2014, the story ended on a cliffhanger. I asked Fox 21, who produced and owns the show, if they would be willing to let me tie up the story lines so that fans would receive some closure. To my delight, they said yes. (Thank you, Fox 21!!) I was told to keep a few of the story lines unresolved, just in case the show ever gets picked up again. (Hope never dies!)

In other words, she wants you to be able to sleep at night, and we do, too. Without spoiling anything — you’ll have to read the story for yourself — here are five of the big questions you can expect to get answered.

Mädchen Amick as Wendy in 'Witches of East End’ (Lifetime)

1. Will Wendy make herself right at home in the Underworld, or will Joanna come up with a way out?

2. What will become of Ingrid’s pregnancy?

3. Are Dash and Killian’s souls swapped for eternity?

4. Speaking of eternity, will Freya and Killian ever find a way to be together forever and ever and ever?

5. Will the ladies ever see Frederick again?

One thing you won’t get from these pages? All that spectacular hair. Ink and paper could never do Jenna Dewan Tatum, Rachel Boston, Mädchen Amick, Julia Ormond, or Daniel Di Tomasso’s luscious locks justice.
