AMC knows fans can’t wait for the Oct. 23 return of The Walking Dead, which is why it’s airing a two-hour retrospective special on Oct. 16. The Walking Dead: The Journey So Far will guide viewers through the series’ most pivotal moments, with commentary from the cast and crew.

In our exclusive sneak peek above, showrunner Scott M. Gimple, Danai Gurira (Michonne), and David Morrissey (the Governor) talk you through the classic Season 3 scene in which Michonne discovers the Governor’s aquariums filled with walker heads — along with his hidden daughter, Penny (or as Gurira describes her, “the Governor’s Achilles’ heel”).

Since Penny is a walker, Michonne sticks her katana through the child’s skull. “So ensues the Michonne-Governor man-cave fight, which took a couple weeks to recover from, physically,” Gurira says.

You know how it ends, but enjoy watching it again.

The Walking Dead: The Journey So Far premieres Oct. 16 at 9 p.m. on AMC. Season 7 of The Walking Dead premieres Oct. 23 at 9 p.m. on AMC.
