‘The Bachelorette’ Bad Boy Chad Johnson Accepts Our Best New Villain Award

Every season of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette has a villain — but rarely are they as memorable as one Mr. Chad Johnson. …and generally alienated/threatened to murder every other guy on the show. Naturally, Team Bachelor was quick to cast him on Bachelor in Paradise, where Chad carried on a brief, loud, and very inebriated romance with Lace before being sent home by Chris Harrison.

And you know what, America? You liked him. You really, really liked him. So much so, in fact, that Chad Johnson beat The Walking Dead’s Negan to win our reader-voted Yahooie for Best New Villain of 2016. When contacted by Yahoo TV, Chad was happy to send a thank-you to his fans in the video above — and, of course, he couldn’t resist tweaking his fellow contestants just one more time.
