Warning: Season 4 spoilers ahead for The Americans.

Good news: after The Americans Season 4 finale on June 8, the FX drama will air for two more seasons, including a 13-episode fifth season in 2017, and a 10-episode sixth season in 2018.

Bad news time: Season 6 will be the end of the road for Elizabeth and Philip Jennings, the Russian spies played by Emmy-worthy stars Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys, FX announced on Wednesday.

Sad though we’ll be to see the series bid primetime adieu, two more seasons should be plenty of time for showrunners Joe Weisberg and Joel Fields to wrap up storylines. Viewers who are up-to-date on the series’ super-intense fourth season might be surprised, in fact, that there are two more seasons of story to unfold.

The execution of Nina (Annet Mahendru), the murder of Stan’s FBI boss Gaad (Richard Thomas), the FBI’s discovery that Martha (Alison Wright) was a spy and her subsequent banishment to Russia by the KGB, and how frighteningly close Stan (Noah Emmerich) seems to be getting to finding out the truth about his neighbors has pushed the plot along at a breakneck pace… and there are still three episodes remaining in the season.

But, assuming our comrades in the Jennings family end the season alive and not imprisoned, there are still lots of questions to be answered in those final 23 episodes. Like…

Will Elizabeth Ever Get to Make — and Keep — a Friend?
Elizabeth remains the Jennings more committed to the KGB cause, and committed to doing anything she’s asked to do to help further it. In Season 4, that has led to one of her most heartbreaking storylines, as she finally made a friend in Young Hee (Ruthie Ann Miles), whose family she has to burn to get lab access for William (Dylan Baker). Making friends comes much more easily to Philip; bonding with other humans, in a genuine way… not so much for Elizabeth, who is one of primetime’s loneliest characters. Here’s hoping she’ll get the chance to make a connection with someone outside her household, someone whose life she then isn’t asked to ruin, before the Jennings ride off to… wherever.

Will Henry Remain in the Dark About His Parents’ Real identities and Jobs?
We see how traumatic finding out about her parents has been for Paige (Holly Taylor), and how traumatic it continues to be… being forced to spend so much time with Pastor Tim (Kelly AuCoin) and Alice, for one thing, is harsh. Paige, in addition to being older than Henry (Keidrich Sellati), is also more mature (even relative to their age differences), so much so that it’s difficult to imagine Henry being able to handle the truth. And more importantly, to be able to keep that truth to himself, which could prove especially dangerous now that he’s practically looking at Stan as a second dad.

Will Paige Become a Spy, Too?
There’s no denying it: the girl has skills, serious skills, and in so many ways — stubbornness, intellect, intuition — is like a mini Elizabeth. But she’s been raised in a much more privileged, coddled lifestyle, and hasn’t yet shown she has any signs of Elizabeth’s physical toughness and ability to put her ideals above human life. Will the KGB continue to pursue its plans to make her join the family business? Or will Philip continue to make this a dealbreaker issue for his ongoing future as a Russian spy?

Will Oleg Remain in America?
Oleg (Costa Ronin) loves living in America, but is being pressured to return home after his brother’s death. His new relationship with embassy co-worker Tatiana (Vera Cherny) is heating up, too… where will his loyalty, and residency, ultimately land?

Will Stan, or Someone Else in the FBI, Uncover the Jennings’ Real Identities?
The Martha situation has brought Stan one very small degree away from finding out who his neighbors are, putting his beer and dinner mooching days, not to mention their family and freedom, in the rearview mirror. With two seasons remaining after the Season 4 ender, can even the Jennings’ considerable skills, and luck, keep them safe from Stan’s own not-so-shabby spy guy abilities forever?

The Americans airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on FX.
