'The Amazing Race' Preview: It's a Fanny Pack Emergency!
The first rule of The Amazing Race is: Never forget your fanny pack. Actually, the real first rule of The Amazing Race is “Read the frigging clue,” but “Never forget your fanny pack” is a close second. That’s a lesson that dating hairstylists Matt and Ashley clearly didn’t learn before embarking on this week’s leg, which takes the racers to Thailand.

In this exclusive clip, the team is on their way to meet Phil at the Pit Stop, when Ashley casually asks her partner, “Where’s your fanny pack?” Matt assures her that it’s “right here,” but, of course, it isn’t right there and he promptly (and understandably) freaks the hell out. Frantically ordering the driver of their rickshaw to turn around, the two prepare to retrace their steps and hope to avoid a dreaded Philimination at the mat. Next time guys, just duct tape that sucker to your body. What it lacks in style and comfort it makes up for in not leaving anything behind.
The Amazing Race airs Fridays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
