Terry Crews Is Christmas’s Spirit Animal

Terry Crews used his Christmas spirit, and his pectorals, to help save the Abrolat family from Christmas party disaster. Fred, Marla, Jessica, and Johnny Abrolat all needed help in their own way, and Terry was there.

Marla, the Abrolat matriarch, felt particularly inept because her sister, Marcia, always has the best holiday parties. The Abrolats’ first party was a fail, after Marcia brought a dessert that literally outshone Marla’s dry tri-tip and one too many boring desserts.

Terry saw the potential in the Abrolats, though, and went on to teach them that pool noodles are in fact bendy, that you don’t need water to swim, how to dance like an animatronic Santa, and that cooking meat properly can be a spiritual experience.

Designer Vanessa Deleon and chef Dean Sheremet transformed the Abrolats’ home from Cali-sad to Cali-chic, and they served some amazing food to some very happy partygoers.

Terry Crews Saves Christmas airs back-to-back episodes Friday, starting at 8 p.m., on the CW.
