Tatiana Maslany Talks Emmy Prep and (Maybe) New Orphan Black Clones

Before winning the Emmy for Lead Actress in a Drama Series on Sunday evening, Orphan Black’s Tatiana Maslany imagined that giving an acceptance speech on stage would be “terrifying.”

Luckily, “my boyfriend encouraged me to [think about the possibility],” she told TVLine’s Michael Ausiello on the red carpet, “because he’s like, ‘If it does happen, you want to feel calm.’ So I wrote a little something” — as we saw, on her cell.

Nervous as Maslany was on Emmy night, she was also glad for the distraction, knowing that “once we start shooting the last season [of Orphan Black], I think I’m going to be extremely sad to be saying goodbye to it.”
