The Lonely Island and the Roots Team Up for ‘I’m on a Boat’ With Classroom Instruments
Based on the old style sailor outfits being worn on The Tonight Show, one might expect a number from the classic musical Anything Goes. The Lonely Island teamed up with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots for a rendition of ‘I’m On A Boat’ using classroom instruments. The original version of the song, which has almost 40 million views on YouTube, is definitely explicit. Jorma Taccone, who sat morosely in a dunce cap.

Adele Performs 'Hello' with The Roots and Jimmy Fallon
On Tuesday’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy shared a performance of Adele’s “Hello,” which they taped after her visit the previous night. The song was performed in a small music room with The Roots and Jimmy providing backup vocals as well as playing children’s classroom instruments. This isn’t the first time the show has done this bit, which is reserved for extremely accomplished musicians like Madonna, The Muppets, and, of course, Adele.
