Susan Sarandon, Elijah Wood, and Little Big Town Play Musical Beers on ‘The Tonight Show’
On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Susan Sarandon and Elijah Wood joined Jimmy Fallon in a rousing game of musical beers, and Karen Fairchild from the band Little Big Town was not joking around. When the music stopped, she happily ripped cups out of her competitors’ hands and poured beer on her face with fury.
With Karen turning up the competition a notch, Elijah quickly felt her wrath as she shredded a cup and drank the remains. It seemed that Karen was becoming the Thelma to Susan’s Louise as these two gal pals started a little plotting against the man, I mean, Jimmy, with a little whispering back and forth before the music commenced. When the music stopped, Jimmy was left with no beer to drink. It came down to Thelma and Louise, that is, Susan and Karen, and though Karen beat out Susan, they clearly were going to drive off a cliff together later.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on NBC.
