The contestants on Survivor are constantly pushed to the extreme of what their bodies can handle. On Wednesday's episode, Cirie Fields pushed her body as far as it could go during a reward challenge, but unfortunately, it wasn't enough as she cost her team the reward.
Cirie was stuck in the water, unable to pull herself onto the floating platform. Sarah dove in to go back and help her, even though their team was all but out of the competition. Sarah pushed Cirie onto the platform and encouraged her to continue. At this point, the other team had finished the challenge, but Jeff Probst let Cirie know that if she wanted to finish, that they would stay until she was done.
So with everyone cheering on Cirie, she regained her composure and made her way across the balance beam and to the final platform. Once she was there, she broke down into tears as everyone gathered around her, congratulating her on finishing the race. It was an emotional moment that had nothing to do with the game, but it was the most compelling and inspirational moment of the episode. Or as Jeff Probst called it, "One of the most powerful moments on Survivor."
