Steve Harvey’s Gift for Adorable Little Lincoln

On the season premiere of Little Big Shots starring Steve Harvey, 5-year-old Lucy from Pleasanton, Calif., stopped by and impressed everyone with her rousing rendition of the famous Gettysburg Address — delivered in full Abraham Lincoln attire.

The pint-size Lincoln charmed everyone with her vast knowledge of the 16th president. She knew everything about Lincoln, including how he liked to feed his cat Tabby with a gold fork. And when Harvey asked Lucy why she loves Lincoln so much, the young lady replied, “Because he believed that all men were created equal.” The audience couldn’t help but reply with a collective “aw” at the simplicity behind Lucy’s adoration for Honest Abe.

After a few more adorable anecdotes with our little Lincoln lover, Harvey surprised Lucy and her family with a free trip to Washington, D.C., complete with a tour of the Lincoln Memorial. Lucy squealed and jumped up and down once she realized that her dreams to see the the nation’s capital were coming true.

Little Big Shots airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
