Stephen Colbert Takes a Swing at Donald Trump’s Golf Habits
President Trump has professed his love of golf in many a speech to his supporters, and according to CNN, he’s racked up 13 golf course visits so far during his brief time in office.
On The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, the writers couldn’t help but take a swing at Trump’s excessive golfing by interviewing the caddies who know his lies best in a cold open entitled Golf Caddie Confessions. One said, “Yeah, I’ve caddied for Mr. Trump. He’s pretty good, but when he misses a putt, he blames it on Obama wiretapping his clubs.”
Another caddie revealed, “If he hits a ball toward a female golfer, he’ll yell, ‘four’ — unless he finds her unattractive; then he yells, ‘two.'”
Though our president seems to be a hole lot of fun on the golf course, he still has a driving ambition. One caddie revealed that he saw Trump name a golf ball Secretary of the Interior just because it was white.
