Stephen Colbert Does His Best Marcia Clark Impression

Sarah Paulson stopped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, where she let Stephen try on her Marcia Clark wig, take a whiff, and do his best Marcia Clark impersonation. It seems Stephen wasn’t the only one inspired by a nice bouquet, as Sarah revealed how she would wear Clark’s perfume to get into character for The People v. O.J. Simpson. The perfume was called Magie Noire, and Sarah described it as “sort of earthy, seductive, and also like the bottom of a tin can.”

The actress may have a thing for famous odors, as she explained how her love for Cher inspired her to make a pretty bold move, going up to the back of Cher’s head, putting her nose in the singer’s hair, and taking a whiff.

After all the chatting about aromas, Stephen and Sarah decided to kill their sense of smell, dramatically, with cigarettes, in a segment called “Puff, Puff, Act: With Sarah Paulson.”

The Late Show With Stephen Colbert airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on CBS.
