‘Star Wars’ Legend Mark Hamill Gets Gift From a Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Swag

Star Wars legend Mark Hamill stopped by The Late Late Show With James Corden, and the musical guest, Foster the People, brought him a gift from a galaxy far, far away. Lead vocalist Mark Foster said to Corden, “You know it’s really important, I think, that I say this. We actually have a gift for Mark Hamill that I think we need to get to him.”

Foster the Geek

With a gold-wrapped present, Foster made his way over to Hamill’s green room, knocked on the door and proved himself to be something of a Star Wars geek. He said, “I have a gift for you. My uncle used to work in the carbonite freezing chamber on Cloud City and he found this. It’s been in the family for a few generations. We’ve been trying to get it to you.”

Lemme Give You a Hand

When Hamill opened the gift, it turned out to be the severed hand that he’d been missing from that fight he got into with his dad all those years ago. “Long time no see,” he said. “Very much appreciated.”

The Late Late Show With James Corden airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. on CBS.
