Star-Studded Celebration of Frank Sinatra

For what would have been Francis Albert Sinatra’s 100th birthday, CBS aired Sinatra 100: An All-Star Grammy Concert. The special was a gathering of some of music’s top talent, singing Ol’ Blue Eyes’s best songs. There were appearances and performances by such greats as Quincy Jones and Tony Bennett. And some of the today’s biggest contemporary artists, including Lady Gaga, Garth Brooks, and Adam Levine, also performed. U2 musicians Bono and the Edge crooned a new song, “Two Shots of Happy, One Shot of Sad,” which they wrote and pitched to Frank many years ago.

Seth MacFarlane led a toast, quoting the legendary singer, with, “May you live to a hundred, and may the last voice you ever hear be mine” — a fitting quote for such a wonderful celebration of an artist’s life.

See a touching moment during the CMA Country Christmas.
